The BABS Scheme (Be Alert, Be Safe) was founded by Tom, the owner of TMS Security, as a way to give back to the community and help create safer public spaces across the United Kingdom.

Our mission is simple: to build a safer future for everyone by providing access to safety points, emergency communications, and safe spaces in local communities.

What the BABS Scheme Does

✅ Safety Points in Public Parks
We are installing safety points around public parks. Each call point connects directly to the nearest emergency service – whether that’s a third-party security response team or the emergency services themselves.

✅ Emergency Pond Phones
All ponds in the community will be fitted with direct emergency phones. These connect straight to 999, ensuring help is only a call away in the event of an accident or emergency.

✅ Safe Places in the Community
We’re working with local residents and businesses to establish safe places where people can go if they feel threatened, unsafe, or in danger.

Working Together for Safety

Tom, the founder of TMS Security and ambassador for Ask for Angela, is leading this initiative to extend beyond Birmingham and bring the BABS Scheme to communities across the entire UK.

This is more than just a project – it’s a movement to create safer towns and cities for our families, friends, and loved ones.

Giving Back Through Every Sale

At TMS Security, we believe in supporting the community through action. That’s why from every kit we sell and every service we provide, 20% of our profit goes directly back into the community:
   •    10% donated to the BABS Scheme to help fund safety points, emergency phones, and safe spaces.
   •    10% donated to Axe Antler, supporting their vital community work.
